Family Updates
2011 was hard hard year for us. Not only was it the tenth anniversary of Boo's "home" going but it was just an emotional year of missing her.We appreciate all of the calls and cards from those of you who remember. Remembering sometimes is painful but thinking I might forget anything about her is more painful. In he next year we will try to update the web page with new information and pictures that we haven't shared as yet. If you are reading this, "May the Lord Bless You and Keep You....and Give...

Whispers of an angel

I had been in the Enloe family for about 2 years and had the honor of knowing Bethany far too short a time. Bethany and I didn’t have many “real conversations” but there was something drawing about her spirit that was neither intentional nor self-centered.

Dear Friends and Family,

On October 18, 2001, one year ago, Bethany went "home." I know that many people have been praying for us throughout the year. I know many of you are wondering how we are doing and so I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you.

One of Bethany's favorite Bible verses was Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." As I reflect back on this past year I realize that we have made it through each day without her only by his strength.

Ladies of Mitchell Road

When Barbara Smith asked us to write a letter to you regarding our struggles over the past two years, we were not sure we could. The Other Side
While struggling through the sadness
of a loved one who is gone,
it’s hard to just continue
it’s hard to carry on.
Sometimes I picture in my mind
the smile she used to wear
when dealing with her being gone
is more than I can bear.
I put my trust in God above
until the storm subsides
and in my Spirit see her smiling
from the other side.
A land where there is joy and peace
is where she now calls home
where God will wipe away her tears
she’ll never be alone.
So in this life I’ll keep the faith
await the swelling tide
I’ll be okay, I see her smiling
from the other side.

Bethany (Face to Face)

I see her now
She is more beautiful than ever
The rainbows, the mountains, the valleys grow envious of her newfound beauty
She sings
The glorious tone of praise echoes forth
She cries
But no more tears of sorrow

Influence

Influence- the power to have an effect on someone, shown only in the result of the effect.

The major influence in my life was, and probably still is, my cousin Bethany. Bethany was the most beautiful person both physically and spiritually.
